Team Lead - Shipping/Receiving - Mid to 2nd shift hours - (Rockford, IL)

Position summary Job Summary Statement The Packing Team Lead directs employees in the Packaging department; and also performs the duties of Packers, and Packing Specialists when needed. Responsibilities See that all employees in the Packaging department follow company policies, ISO9001 procedures and work instructions. Be involved in the training of all current and new employees as needed. Coordinate and plan the work assigned to the Packaging department including checking due dates and destinations for each product shipped. Communicate with the Production Scheduler, Plant Manager, Quality Manager, Human Resource Manager or any other person regarding problems with parts, processes, employees, etc. Communicate with Management and/or Quality regarding problems with parts or processes; Communicate with the Human Resources Manager regarding any employee issues; Complete documentation of employee discipline and present to employees following approval.
