Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) - (Columbus, OH)

Position summary Our RVTs (Registered Veterinary Technicians) collaborate together with the DVMs (Dr. of Veterinary Medicine) to provide quality medical care for our patients. Village Gate Animal Hospital & Pet Resort is open seven days a week for medical care, and RVTs/Veterinary Assistants may see cases including dogs, cats, pocket pets and exotics. A valid license with the State of Ohio is REQUIRED to be an RVT. In addition, a applicant must be a compassionate, fast learner, love animals, work well with people (both in a team environment and with customers), self motivated and hard working. Applicants will be cross trained as a medical receptionist also as everyone must be able to pick up the phone and handle incoming customer calls during busy times. We have full time and part time positions available. Hours will typically be between 7am and 8pm M-F, 8-4pm Sa and 1-6pm Su. (However, these may expand depending on business needs.
