Veterinary Receptionist - (Columbus, OH)

Position summary Our Medical Receptionists are the hub of the hospital. As a Medical Receptionist, you will collaborate together with the medical staff, the resort staff, customers and management in an effort to provide quality medical care for our patients as well as resort care for our kennel guests. Village Gate Animal Hospital & Pet Resort is open seven days a week for medical care. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be working with dogs, cats, pocket pets, exotics and birds. No prior training is required, but a applicant must be a compassionate, fast learner, love animals, work well with people (both in a team environment and with customers), self motivated and hard working. Furthermore, applicants will be required to learn some medical knowledge (vaccinations, etc.) and must be able to multi-task (handling multiple customers, etc.). All staff is cross-trained at boarding to minimize holiday impact on any 1 staff member. We have full time and part time positions available.
