Youth Care Workers- Day and Swing shifts available - (Tigard, OR)

Position description Our client is non-profit in downtown Portland that offers shelter and care to at risk youth. They are currently looking for a dedicated and nurturing youth care worker to join their team The Youth Care Worker would be responsible for working one-on-one with youth in group settings, planning daily activities, meals, and helping achieve children achieve learning objectives. Your background providing care to individuals through volunteer or work background will be critical for this job. Your goal will be to offer a a stable and secure environment for children dealing with adversity, trauma, and other life challenges. Our client is committed to the growth and development of these children while they are in their care. Position qualifications Education and Background Qualifications: High-school diploma required. one year background working with youth. Or a combination of education and background related to working with youth. Knowledge of food preparation.
