Behavioral Specialist - (Ossining, NY)

Job Description Position description: To develop with youth, treatment parent and clinical staff behavioral/treatment plans to address behavior challenges and help youth develop age appropriate coping skills. Job assignments: · Conduct all clinical assessments for children enrolled in the program including behavioral screenings, quarterly treatment plan reviews, and behavioral treatment planning. · Provide supportive and case consultation services to youth and Treatment Parents during weekly home visits in accordance with Local Department of Social Services (LDSS) qualifications. · Provide direct, in home crisis intervention and support as needed to Treatment Parents. · Develop new behavioral goals as needed and work collaboratively with clinical staff and Treatment Parents and youth to implement agreed upon goals. · Review and collect the weekly behavior plans from the Treatment Parents. · Attend medication reviews, quarterly treatment reviews, case consultations.
