Volunteer Services Coordinator Part-time 30 Hours Per Week PRIMARY PURPOSE: Under direct supervision, this position conducts the day-to-day operations and administration of Volunteer Services according to the philosophy of Desert Blood Services. Accountable for developing and administering policies and procedures relative to Volunteer Services. Works with departments to understand and support their activities through the recruitment and placement of volunteers. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs all assigned duties in compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations. Brings compliance issues to the attention of management. Assures quality customer service to all customers. Directs the formulation and implementation of policies and procedures, measurement tools, and short-term planning for the volunteer functions. Maintains a qualified staff of volunteers and ensures that department needs are supplemented, as appropriate.
