Manufacturing Buyer & Planner - (Kings Mountain, NC)

Position description The Buyer/Planner will work in a team environment handling all aspects of purchasing, receiving, and inventory control. They will manage several projects at a time in various fluid stages of pre-planning, client approvals/change orders, and manufacturing under aggressive deadlines and schedules. Material responsibility will include shop/office consumables and supplies, as well as manufacturing materials. The Buyer/Planner has the overall responsibility of ensuring that all materials are on-hand when shop production starts including: Bills of Materials/Cost Budgeting Verifying that BOM’s are complete and accurate Determine material lead times and communicate potential delivery issues Estimate project costs and communicate potential cost versus budget issues Procurement & Receiving Order all office, shop
