Quality Assurance Lab Supervisor - Direct Hire, $100 sign on bonus - (Cartersville, GA)

Position overview CRITICAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES LAB OPERATIONS: • Drive continuous improvement of the Quality Lab operations, codifying and simplifying managing processes. • Provide developmental coaching for the lab technicians to reach performance goals. • Ensure that the organization’s Quality Management System conforms to customer, internal, ISO 9001, and regulatory/legal requirements. • Assist with developing and validating analytical methods for characterizing fibers. • Assure mandatory lab testing is conducted in a timely and accurate manner. • Proactively plan for staffing needs that run 24x7, considering vacations, absenteeism, and attrition patterns. COLOR FORMULATION: • Under guidance from the Masterbatch Manager, create pigment formulations to produce custom colored products in nylon polymer. • Develop knowledge of resins and pigments to adjust color formulations and improve lot to lot repeatability.
