Description : The OR Clinical Coordinator utilizes the nursing process, transformational leadership skills, evidenced based practice, a shared leadership approach and lean principles in developing and maintaining the clinical skill within the Operating Room. The ClinicalCoordinator will assist the Surgical Services Director with the quality and performance improvement plan for the Operating Room. This position will work together with the OR leadership to develop education programs related to assessed needs for the OperatingRoom. The Clinical Coordinator assumes the responsibility in coaching and developing the OR Unit team player s clinical skills to meet the needs of the patients served. . Qualifications : Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia. BSN required; Masters in related position (Nursing preferred) Min of 3yrs RN background in the Operating Room
