Service Writer - (Delmar, DE)

Position overview Hale Trailer Brake & Wheel, Inc is a multi-location, full service trailer dealership with an immediate opening at its Delmar, DE branch location. We are looking for an experienced Service Writer to join our team of trailer professionals. This is a great career opportunity if you enjoy a dynamic, quick paced workplace atmosphere. Responsibilities: Estimate cost of repairs and prepares itemized service order, listing costs of parts and labor. Initiate and control the service order process, secure customer’s signature, and close when completed. Serve as a liaison between mechanics and customers. Comply with all Company policies, DOT, OSHA and other governmental standards and regulations. Qualifications: Must have a min 3yrs of background as a heavy duty truck and trailer mechanic. Must have previous background with Heavy Haul, Walking Floor, Dumps and other types of Trailers.
