Chief Engineer - EWS - (Goleta, CA)

Position summary The Systems Engineering, Integration & Test (SEIT) Electronic Warfare (EW) Electronic Protect (EP) Systems Department of Raytheon Space & Airborne Systems is seeking a Chief Engineer (CE). We're looking for proven abilities in developing innovative solutions that meet war-fighter needs to support the EWS business area relating to Electronic Support (ES) and Electronic Attack (EA) capability development. The CE is the single engineering leadership point of contact and is responsible for all engineering execution of a program. The CE oversees all technical, schedule, and financial performance of engineering work. The CE is accountable to the Program Manager and their functional manager. They are indirectly accountable to the Program Area Chief Engineer and is assigned by the systems engineering organization. The Chief Engineer will interface daily with the Program Area Chief Engineer, Program Manager, and other technical leaders, or individual engineering contributors.
