Drafter II - (California, MD)

Position summary Seeking a Drafter to be responsible for the technical drawings of commercial and government products. Create bills of materials (BOMs), configuration specifications and detailed technical instructions. Illustrates systems from specifications, source control drawings, sketches, models, prototypes or verbal instruction. Assists engineers to ensure customer delivery deadlines are met. Willingness to work overtime during nights and weekends when required for certain projects. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated skill in the following areas: · Create technical drawing package for products. · Translate 3D part/assemblies into comprehensive drawings, for manufacturing. · Create assembly drawings with step by step instructions for manufacturing. · Assist engineering preparing product specification and collecting data. · Work with vendors in ordering material, hardware and machined items. · Review and check all technical documentation packages created by other teammates.
