Position details Architectural Wall Systems, Inc.’s Kansas City office has openings for both Senior and Junior AutoCAD Drafter/Designers, experienced in the creation of shop drawings for manufactured products in the commercial components and cladding industry. Description: AutoCAD Drafter/Designers will be responsible for the preparation of submittal quality shop drawings, prepared for specific manufacturers based on individual project requirements. This includes having a thorough understanding of the shop drawing process, and the expertise to gather necessary details from contract documents such as specifications, architectural/structural drawings, and addendums. The ideal applicants will possess great communication abilities, show an interest in developing oneself and advancing their career. They will demonstrate strong organizational abilities and must be capable of multi-tasking responsibilities on multiple projects.
