MSHA Safety Supervisor - (Troutville, VA)

Position description Excellent opportunity for an MSHA Safety Supervisor in Troutville, VA (relo package available). This salary exempt position will report functionally to the MSHA Safety Director and administratively to the Environmental & Safety Manager. The primary function of this position is to ensure compliance of all safety affairs as regulated through the Virginia Department of Mines, Minerals & Energy (DMME), Virginia Department of Health (VDH), Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA), and Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA). Responsibilities & Expectations: Promote safety program, compliance with safety standards and lead and/or participate in site safety meetings. Ensure compliance through MSHA including employee (task) training and monitoring occupational exposure limitations. Monitor safety progress against goals and implement programs as directed. Follow appropriate reporting procedures.
