Job overview · Complete complex fabrication projects from start to finish including fitting and welding. · Pass up to 4G and greater welding tests · Provide mentoring to less experienced welders · Advanced expertise to read and interpret blueprints. · Assist with inspection of assemblies. · Set up and operate all types of shop fabrication equipment. · Perform advanced welding duties in multiple positions using multiple processes. · 3 or more years prior welding background in a shop environment (steel plate construction and fabrication industry).
