Journeyman Road Mechanic - (Indianapolis, IN)

Job Description Accurate Personnel is assisting our client with the recruiting & screening of qualified Road Mechanic applicants. The selected applicant will be employed directly by our client (direct-hire). Our client is in the construction industry, so Road Mechanics must be experienced diagnosing & repairing heavy-duty equipment. They also must be able to travel regionally, including overnight travel to job sites. JOB OVERVIEW: A journeyman mechanic who can perform necessary mechanical work and fabricating, either at company shops or at a regional job site/location in a safe, efficient, capable and professional manner. Equipment includes heavy duty trucks and construction & excavating equipment used by the Company. REQUIRED RESPONSIBILITIES: Pick-up and delivery of said Company equipment. Repair and/or replacement of major components including transmissions, differentials, air, electric and hydraulic brake systems, power assist units, steering and suspension assemblies.
