Project Engineer - Willamette Valley, OR - (Portland, OR)

POSITION DESCRIPTION As a Project Engineer you will assist the Project Manager with the planning and daily execution of the construction project. You will be responsible for maintaining certain aspects of the project schedule as assigned by the Project Manager, by managing the process of submittal approvals, coordinating the timely delivery of materials, maintaining schedules and budgets. Lewis Project Engineers are integral members of project teams. They work together with project managers, superintendents, company craftspeople and subcontractors with main responsibilities that include cost management and quality control. Lewis has a strong presence in the Eugene area, with $600 million in construction put in place in the south Willamette Valley in the last 2 decades. Some notable projects include the University of Oregon's Lillis Business Complex and Erb Memorial Union in Eugene, and the SAIF Headquarters in Salem. More than a 3rd of our staff live and work in the south Willamette Valley area.
