Materials Planner / Buyer - (Lugoff, SC)

Position details International company has an opportunity commutable to the east of Columbia, SC at a high volume plant for a Materials Planner / Buyer . In this capacity will be responsible for coordinating and planning the process of purchasing materials for production throughput from foreign and domestic suppliers. Will aid in the development of policies and procedures in the areas of inventory control and procurement. Will be responsible for backing up production scheduling , plans and forecasts the need of materials to meet customer orders. Will play a key role in the management of inventory. Will communicate with suppliers to ensure on time delivery and manage the delivery of appropriate quantity levels based on the increase or decrease of demand from the customer. SAP is the ERP utilized in this environment.
