Youth Care Worker - (Grand Rapids, MI)

Job summary The Youth Care Worker is responsible for providing oversight, supervision and direction to youth placed at our residential treatment facility. This position assists with the effectiveness of the living unit. They work with house parents with supervision of the resident youth as well as the home. Supports the educational development, provides a social and moral example, encourages the physical and social development, and contributes to the spiritual development of the Youth at Sunny Crest Youth Ranch. Full time & Part time Positions Available second and third Shifts Essential Duties and responsibilities: · Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary team. · Provides input and planning during treatment planning process. · Communicates pertinent details as it relates to youth and their therapeutic needs. · Facilitates activities when on shift. · Helps to develop healthy communication and issue solving abilities during times of stress or anxiety.
