Bioinformatics and Computational Scientist - (Newtonville, MA)

RESPONSIBILITIES: Development and utilization of computational tools for clinical data analysis and data mining to identify factors (e.g., genetic markers) that correlate with clinical response to drug applicants Work as a member of cross-functional Response Working Group to develop response factor hypotheses and develop analysis plans to test the hypotheses Establish processes for data manipulation & analysis Evaluate potential commercially available analysis tools Conduct analyses of operational data across all functions at Karyopharm to generate quantitative assessments of operational performance. Examples include analysis of clinical site performance data and evaluation of time to key operational milestones such as contract execution, site activation, database lock or regulatory approval.
