Quality Control Specialist - (Opa-Locka, FL)

Position overview Construction company is currently looking for a Quality Control Specialist with heavy background in inventory control. If you have inventory or warehouse background and looking to branch into a clerical role, then this could be the role for you Completes cycle counts. Assist in the preparation and conducting physical inventory on an annual basis.Ensures stock is put-away in preferred stock/bin locations and 1st in 1st out stock rotation is for items stocked.Maintains inventory and system accuracy ensuring stock is located in system designated preferred stock locations.Manage end of life-cycle and obsolete inventory. Ensures slow moving, obsolete and expired supplies are separated/removed in a timely manner.Manage inventory targets (including safety stock levels) that are approved by management.Prepare inventory reports for management as needed.Prints daily pick lists and assists picking customer orders.Responsible for stock planning and reorder of stock.
