Position details Utilitex, part of Future Infrastructure Holdings, is a heavy civil construction company specializing in underground utilities; water distribution, sanitary sewer, storm drain, electrical, etc. We are searching for a qualified, competent and motivated individual to fill an estimating position. Key responsibilities Completing underground utility bid packages for public, private, municipal and DOT projects (water, sanitary sewer, storm drain, electrical, etc…) Analyze construction drawings and specifications Perform quantity take offs Determination of labor/equipment needed Obtain and interpret material/subcontractor quotes Review/evaluate bid opportunities Prepare estimates for extra work items, change orders, credits, etc. Attend pre-bid meetings Requirements Technical skills: proficiency in Microsoft word, Microsoft excel, Outlook, etc.
