Job details Mental Health Associate Autism Unit Children and Adolescent The Mental Health Associate is responsible for providing direct management of the patients. They assist other members of the department in the execution of the treatment plan, adherence to the schedule, providing a safe environment and thoughtful observations and documentation in caring for the patient. Requirements: High-school graduate or GED equivalent. Human Services degree a plus Preferred: Background in management of behaviorally impaired and/ or mentally challenged patients. Background with children and adolescents who are on the autism spectrum. Risks: When encountering patients, exposure to physical and verbal aggression is possible. Job requirements: 1. Documents detailed hourly observations and interventions of patients on daily progress notes as required. 2.
