Food Scientist - (Valhalla, NY)

Food Scientist needs 1-two years of background in commercial Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QC/QA) or R&D Food Scientist requires: commercial Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QC/QA) R&D B.S. in Chemistry, Food Science or related position (M.S. preferred) Background in food/beverage/ingredient research & development function desirable Background with project management techniques a plus. Moderate technical skills including Microsoft word, Microsoft excel, Power Point and internet. Food Scientist duties: Apply technical ability to develop internal Ingredient Specifications describing the quality and functionality of ingredients used to manufacture beverages globally. Leverage internal and external resources to develop ingredient specifications that are clear, concise and support the quality needs of production groups.
