Position description : Raytheon's Intelligence, Details, and Services Business is seeking a Sr. QA Engineer in our Pittsfield, Massachusetts facility. As a Sr. QA Engineer you will represent IIS and the customer's best interests, assuring product quality and effectiveness throughout the product lifecycle, and developing solutions to ensure the program meets customer/end user objectives for quality. The QA Engineer must be able to work at all levels of multi-corporation organization to perform root cause and corrective action utilizing analytical capabilities and communications skills. The QA Engineer will be expected to develop effective relationships with both internal and external customers, fostering a working atmosphere based on trust and respect. The QA Engineer will develops surveillance techniques used to monitor performance of a complex missile guidance system that is based on qualifications and operational effectiveness.
