Assistant Football Coach/ Defensive Coordinator - (River Forest, IL)

Concordia University Chicago invites applications for the position of Assistant Football Coach. We are requesting this person be qualified to lead the defensive planning, with the assistance of the Head Coach. The position will be responsible for recruitment of qualified student athletes for the football program. This 12-month position includes, ensuring compliance with CUC, NACC, and NCAA Division III rules. Individual must be able to recruit academically qualified and athletically competitive student-athletes and to motivate them to realize their potential in the classroom and on the field. Because of the inherent visibility of collegiate athletics on campus and in the greater community, it is expected that the coach will display good communication expertise, Christian principles, and exhibit teamwork with other academic, student life and administrative divisions of the College and be an ardent supporter of the mission of the University. Essential Assignments include:
