Security Officer - (Lake St Louis, MO)

Job details Role Purpose: Responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, employees and medical staff. Protects and ensures all buildings, grounds and parking lots are safe and secure. Also responsible for performing job assignments in accordance with the policies and philosophy of SSM Health Care. Responsibilities: Promotes exceptional patient satisfaction by responding to, but not limited to, suspicious activities, thefts, combative patients/visitors, emergency alarms/codes/conditions, and visitor injuries/falls. Promotes exceptional safety by maintaining a security presence while securing buildings, patrolling parking facilities, and reporting any deficiencies in a proactive and timely manner. Contributes to the overall employee satisfaction of the department by actively participating in department staff meetings/planning and offering assistance to all coworkers when needed. Delivers exceptional employee satisfaction by providing security escorts upon request.
