Position description Job Description: SUMMARY: The Buyer Planner is responsible for making inventory and purchasing decisions benefiting the Customer and the company while satisfying the organization’s procurement needs and optimizing inventory performance. Responsible for identifying weaknesses in procurement and replenishment procedures and processes, and working with management to execute change. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform with multiple responsibilities of a Supply Chain Team. Procure products from assigned Suppliers Follow up on open orders and make expediting decisions as needed Analyze data and notify management of changes in delivery and lead time for inventory Communicate with all operational and engineering personnel
