Quality Control Technician - (Lincolnton, NC)

Job summary General Summary: This Quality Control Lab Technician is responsible for working in a laboratory environment and performing inspections and quality tests on batches of ink, incoming raw materials, aqueous coatings, UV coatings, pressroom chemistry products, and other associated materials. This position must communicate and interact daily with the operations and technical employees. Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities: · Test random samples from production batches/lots of UV and Water based Inks, Coatings and Adhesives and recommend adjustments according to the company Quality Standards. · Inspection of raw materials to support purchase decisions and to help reducing quality variability. · Follow the testing procedures outlined in the Quality Manual and suggest improvements. · Evaluate performance of new formulas and inspection plans and work with the formulators and the operations group on their improvement.
