Job summary Description: Advantage Resourcing is recruiting for Instructional Assists to work in Columbia Woodstock and Danielson. These are DIRECT HIRE positions. To assist a certificated teacher by providing individual assistance to students in academic areas work with small groups of students and/or one-on-one to reinforce instruction provided by the teacher. To assist students with low academic skills in all academic areas focus strongly and consult with clinicians on a regular basis regarding classroom discipline follow structured program daily. To assist students as assigned with developmental activities lead activities designed to help students achieve motor control body awareness and regulating self. To assist teachers in maintaining appropriate order and student conduct in the classroom observe behavior of students to assure safety assist in resolving student disputes refer serious discipline problems to the teacher or administrators.
