Facility Maintenance/Grounds - (Cumberland, MD)

Job details JOB SUMMARY: The Facility Maintenance and Grounds position is responsible for organizing, documenting, and/or performing work related to facilities needs for the Cumberland, MD location and surrounding region. (S)He will also be responsible for assisting with transportation needs and maintain grounds. (S)He will ensure a safe, clean, and effective operating environment. Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving history. CRITICAL FUNCTIONS: Provide for daily facilities maintenance, and other maintenance/repair needs as they arise. Develop and implement regular maintenance schedules for all assigned equipment. Maintain the outside premises for the Cumberland region. This includes, but is not limited to, mowing of the grass, weeding, snow shoveling, and shrub and tree pruning. Ensure that all safety procedures are followed and recommend additional safety measures as appropriate in accordance with governing regulations and standards via the Safety Committee.
