Position overview Lead Housekeeper - Position overview Maintaining a clean house is very important to the successful operation of an assisted living facility. Housekeepers are responsible for providing a clean and sanitary living environment for residents. To that end, the Lead Housekeeper is responsible for: Primary Duties Include: • Communicating (verbally and written) with other housekeeping staff and caregivers to ensure that all housekeeping chores are completed in accordance with best cleaning practices and in a timely fashion. • Creating and implementing a viable facility cleaning schedule. • Communicating said schedule to Residex administrator. • Ensuring said schedule is accurate. • Proactively observing and reporting any needed housekeeping related needs or changes to your supervisor. • Maintaining property supply and backup stock of all cleaning products, equipment and supplies. • Ensuring that the housekeeping cart is fully stocked and ready for service 24/7.
