Position overview Physical Education Teacher/Health Teacher Daytop Village of NJ, Inc. an organization dedicated to providing exceptional and affordable treatment to adolescents and adults with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders is in need of a caring and passionate full time Physical Education/Health teacher for the 2018-2019 school year in our Mendham facility. Candidates who are qualified must be: A New Jersey certified Teacher of Health and Physical Education Proficient in Word and electronic communication Experienced working with “at risk” youth and alternative education (preferred) Multilingual is a plus Responsibilities: Provide instruction in the content and skills of the physical education/health curriculum as defined by the New Jersey Common Core standards. Structure and implement courses based on the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards for Physical Education and Health. Manage the classroom environment assuring an appropriate and therapeutic educational climate.
