Job details National Consumer Debt Relief Law Firm Seeks Supervising Attorney The firm represents consumer debtors in creditor negotiations and such litigated claims. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal communication abilities, enjoy working with others in a fast pace environment, and have a true desire to help persons in financial distress. This applicant will also have a current knowledge of contract law, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and the consumer credit industry, as well as background negotiating with adverse parties and interacting directly with clients. Prior managerial experience is preferred, though not required. The attorney should be licensed and in good standing with their state bar and keenly aware of their ethical obligations in the context of law practice management. The position mandates anywhere from 40-50 hours per week and starts immediately. Salary is competitive and commensurate with background.
