Leak Seal Technician - (Charleston, SC)

Position overview Skills/Competencies Perform low pressure leak sealing including survey, leak detection, evaluation, drilling, clamp installation Maintain documentation, work logs, time sheets, etc Perform on-site trouble shooting and machining OSHA Certification Extensive knowledge and mechanical expertise, tool handling and techniques Maintains a safe and clean workplace atmosphere/Safety Minded Physical demands Required to stand, bend, crouch, kneel, and climb. Must have good hand and finger dexterity, range of motion and strength to use tools in small spaces and various positions. Frequently required to sit or drive long periods of time Able to lift/move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift/move more than 100 pounds Must have good vision, hearing, perception Must be able to wear PPE (Protective Personal Equipment) Must be able to work outdoors under various weather conditions and in hazardous environment 08/16 Company Description Transmission and Distribution Services
