3rd Shift Production Supervisor - (Carbondale, PA)

Job details Apply Description This position will be responsible to manage a workgroup and work to attain and achieve the key metrics outlined by the Management Operating System. KEY FUNCTIONS Coordinates production schedule and activities with support departments and resolves production problems related to methods, tools, fixtures, materials, and manpower. Confirms all line machinery is clean and functioning and all safety devices are used, utilizes 6S methodology. Lead Huddle Meetings and motivates team. Directs efforts of manufacturing staff, ensuring all work is coordinated, downtime is minimized, and products meet established quality standards. Updates Individual & Department Skills Flex. Identifies cost, quality, schedule and inventory variances, and develops and implements corrective actions for negative variances. Reviews daily production and operating data and provides reports to manager, updates White Board metrics. Participates in interviewing, hiring, training, development and evaluation of staff.
