Job summary POSITION CONCEPT The instructor should be knowledgeable in his/her subject area, be an effective classroom manager, and follow the philosophy and rules of the College in conducting classes. The faculty member must possess a conferred graduate degree in field, or a graduate degree with eighteen semester credits in field from a regionally accredited university for any State Common Course numbered class assignment. The educational qualifications may vary for specialty fields that are not common course designated. Both practical and instructional experience is preferred. The instructor must have the expertise to relate well to the students and other faculty members, the expertise to keep calm during trying circumstances and have the expertise to maintain a professional attitude in the classroom. Maintaining the highest standards of compliance is expected.
