Youth Specialist/Direct Care Worker FT and PT - (Detroit, MI)

Position description Non-Profit Residential Treatment center in Detroit, is seeking both Full- Time and Part time Youth Specialist/Direct Care Workers. Persons in the Youth Specialist position are responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities; disciplining, coaching, and counseling children; transporting children; and participating in the development and implementation of treatment plans for the residents. APPLICANTS MUST HAVE A VALID MICHIGAN DRIVER'S LICENSE WITH NO MORE THAN 2 VIOLATIONS IN THE PAST FIVE YEARS A driving history check will be conducted prior to hire. Applicants will be required to take and successfully pass a physical examination including a with drug screen. A criminal history check will be performed as a pre-requisite to employment.
