Position details Micro Plastics, Inc. Design Engineer three Reports to Senior Design Engineer Job Summary Design robust, high-quality parts and tooling for customers. Work with all departments in providing technical support and drawings when needed. Responsibilities/Daily Tasks Design and develop part and tooling projects. Interface with Tool Design staff effectively to ensure the form, fit and function of designs while also working with Tool Room and Set-Up to ensure cost effectiveness and manufacturability of design. Provide technical support and drawings when needed to all departments. Review and verify design drawings and other technical documentation prepared by others to ensure correctness and accuracy in form, fit and function. Requirements Associates Degree or equivalent work background. Min of 6 (6) years’ background in injection mold design or related disciplines. Strong technical skills with the expertise to use Microsoft office suite and CAD as necessary.
