Test Floor Engineer - (Bay Shore, NY)

Job summary Our client, a manufacturing firm, is seeking a Test Floor Engineer. Summary: Conducts Test Floor work, coordinates with other departments and carries it out in the most economical way, while maintaining the quality standards of the Company. JOB DUTIES: · Performs testing of products for conformance with specifications and in accordance with scheduled ship dates. · Develops written test procedures for all Company products in line with ISO 9000 requirements. · Assures availability of equipment to support the test floor activities. · Supports other departments in prototype and production unit testing, development of specifications, product improvement, and related documentation. · Participates in Company’s Quality Circle. · Interfaces with suppliers on technical issues. · Performs acceptance testing at supplier sites. · Supports commissioning of shipped products through remote and on-site assistance to CSS personnel.
