Position details Scope: The Sr. Project Management Engineer for New Product Development will ensure projects will meet customer qualifications, internal design qualifications, cost goals, and schedule. The perfect applicant has proven skill in providing direction, leadership and development for assigned staff, which may include direct reports and/or other assigned resources. Duties and Responsibilities: •Develops high level plans to meet both project and product cost targets. Monitors progress and takes appropriate corrective actions as required. Reports progress to appropriate management levels. Responsible for populating cost models and validating the accuracy of all cost inputs •Develops and oversees the progress of project plans that meet the required customer and/or internal milestones, specifications, and product cost goals
