Outside Machinist - (Idaho Falls, ID)

Job overview Maintains the Naval Reactors Facility (NRF) mechanical systems and components in a reliable and safe working condition through preventive and corrective maintenance, fabrication, and installation in accordance with engineering instructions under general supervision. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Knowledge of methods, practices, and techniques of maintaining building and facilities. Required to modify or repair equipment, tooling, mechanical systems, engines, pumps, hydraulic systems, and other mechanical devices as needed. Must be physically fit to climb ladders and wear fall protection equipment. Must qualify Contamination Worker and any other radiological, environmental, and safety qualification deemed necessary by the supervisor.
