Facility Maintenance Technician - (Hillside, IL)

Job overview Central Transport, 1 of the leading transportation and logistics firms in the nation, is seeking Facility Maintenance crew members to be based out of our facility in Hillside, IL. Assignments include, but are not limited to: - Extensive travel to company owned facilities for general dock and facility repairs - Operation of company trucks to transport supplies and equipment - General welding: dock plates, dock bumpers, etc. - Concrete and paving work - General construction work including basic plumbing, electrical and HVAC skills. The ideal candidate should possess: - 3-5yrs general maintenance repair/troubleshooting - 3-5yrs of general steel welding background (strongly preferred) - Expertise to operate a variety of construction/facility maintenance equipment - Current Class A valid drivers license is preferred but not required All necessary tools and equipment provided by the company. Applicants must be able to pass a drug screen and physical in addition to having a clean driving record.
