Position details Environmental Trainer Senior/Specialist: Applies engineering theory and computer skills to support activities which may include planning, design, operations, construction and maintenance follow and inspection, shipment of materials, testing of components, systems, and equipment; surveillance of manufacturing and quality control practices, tasks associated with the control, accountability, and disposition of nuclear or radioactive materials and hazardous waste; tasks associated with environmental, safety and health with primary focus on safety, inspection/monitoring and technical training. May prepare work instructions and procedures, develop technical processes and machinery/system layout to optimize the flow of work, conduct data collection for engineering analysis and statistical studies, and implement engineering analytical decisions. May apply technical knowledge and background in the study, development, correction, and prevention of industrial type problems.
