Mid-Level Environmental Specialist / Technician - (Norfolk, VA)

Job details Meadows seeks an Environmental Specialist / Technician to handle fieldwork activities for environmental projects for both Private and Federal sector clients. Work will occur on project sites in and around the Mid-Atlantic region, with a preponderance of the work occurring in the immediate Hampton Roads area. A successful applicant is able to write and convey thoughts and ideas in a clear, concise manner, holds effective communication expertise, and has the expertise to work efficiently both with peers and independently. Work will take place outdoors year-round, in all weather conditions, oftentimes on military installations. Travel will be required, including out-of-state short term overnight stays. A successful applicant must have a valid US driver’s license free of restrictions, be able to safely drive a full-size pickup truck, be able to pass a experience investigation to obtain access to U.S. military installations, and be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
