Security Officer 1 - (Macon, GA)

River Edge is seeking a full time security officer to provide a safe and friendly environment. Duties & Responsibilities: Under general supervision, patrols an assigned areas and ensures safety of building and grounds for a outpatient facility that provides treatment for emotionally disturbed and substance abuse for adults and children and youth. Investigates, vandalism, theft and violence. Performs administrative duties. This position may require P.O.S.T. registration or certification, completion of yearly continuing-ed mandates, and a valid driver's license. Min Training & Background: High-school diploma or GED. Current drivers license. Required Competencies: - Expertise to work well with others - Expertise to differentiate between colors - Good written and spoken communication abilities - Available to work day, evening and morning shifts Preferred Requirements: Min of 1 yr background in providing security services in a health care setting.
