Registered Nurse / RN for ACTT (Assertive Community Treatment Team) - (Sylva, NC)

Job details Meridian Behavioral Health Services is seeking a RN to join our Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT) in Jackson County. ACTT is an evidence-based wrap-around model of care that supports individuals with severe and persistent mental illness to improve their overall well-being while remaining in community living. The ACTT Nurse is responsible for assessing physical needs; making appropriate referrals to community physicians; providing management and administration of medication in conjunction with the psychiatrist. The ACTT nurse is also responsible for providing a range of treatment, rehabilitation and support services including general and condition-specific health education, medication education, and psychiatric rehabilitation. Being part of the “on call” rotation is an expectation. Psychiatric experience wanted.
