Veterinary Surgical Technician - (Mashpee, MA)

Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists (CCVS) is a growing specialty and emergency, critical care hospital with locations in Bourne and Dennis, Massachusetts. We are a 24/7 hospital who strives to practice a high standard of care in a compassionate and engaging environment.We are looking for a full-time Surgical Technician to join our team of two surgeons, three criticalist, critical care residents, knowledgeable emergency doctors and a skilled nursing staff. Other specialists at CCVS include an internal medicine specialist and a part-time cardiologist and ophthalmologist. Experienced technicians, preferably those who are licensed and who have or wish to pursue ACVECCT certification are encouraged to apply.The role of the surgical technician includes, but is not limited to: Performing all aspects of patient induction, patient surgical preparation, anesthetic monitoring and recovery Expertise to troubleshoot and maintain all surgical equipment Assist surgeons with scrub in procedures
