Position details Midwest Professional Staffing is partnering with a local non-profit healthcare organization who is searching for a Billing Specialist to fill the spot of a retiree. This is a rewarding position that will report to the Accounts Receivable Manager. Generous benefits are offered with this Direct Hire opportunity Hours: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM Pay: $40,000-$55,000 depending on background Responsibilities: Prepare, review and submit accurate billings to Medicare, Medicaid and occasional 3rd party payers Resolve and monitor claims with Medicare, Medicaid, and other 3rd party payers Answer any inquiries from patients, staff, or 3rd parties Enter fees and cash receipts, analyze monthly billing reports on occasion Remains current on compliance with regulations pertaining to Medicare, Medicaid, and various private insurance carriers Qualifications: 3yrs of Billing and/or Accounts Receivable in medical industry Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid desired Home care billing is preferred
