Accounting Manager - (White Plains, NY)

Position overview Background Prepare, analyze, and monitor data and produce financial reports or statements. Prepare monthly journal entries, research accounts for appropriate coding and prepare supporting documents for the quarterly review and year-end audit process. Analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts, month-end expenses, and month-end close process coordination. Assist with the preparation of supporting documents that are used in the preparation of SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q and 8-K for Earnings Releases. Document processes in accordance with accounting policies, including maintenance of the SOX narrative and cooperation with Internal Audit for SOX walkthroughs and testing; ensuring all key controls within the SEC Reporting process are performed properly and timely. Perform variance analysis of key accounts and document explanations of significant fluctuations.
